Deployment Planning

JIH LLC has led deployment planning from device selection to staff qualification and

implementation. Recent work has involved the deployment of a heat strain monitoring device

across three operating divisions with some 1000 employees potentially in high heat stress

conditions, exacerbated by radiologically assigned personal protective equipment. The planning

included briefing development and delivery to stakeholders in worker ranks, supervisory and

management assignments, and the supporting medical oversight personnel. It further required

formal training for those deploying the technology to understand configurability of the device,

and necessary actions upon information (“actionable intelligence”) regarding an individual’s heat

strain metrics.
